How to Request Deletion of Your Facebook-Provided Data

If you signed up or logged in to WeVite using Facebook, you can request deletion of your Facebook-provided data at any time. This page explains your options and how we process requests.


Self-Serve Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Sign in to your WeVite account.
  2. Go to Account → Privacy → Delete account.
  3. Confirm the deletion. This permanently removes your profile, events you created, and any Facebook-provided data (e.g., name, email, Facebook ID).

Request by Email

If you cannot access your account, email support@wevite.io with the subject "Facebook Data Deletion" and include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your WeVite account
  • (Optional) Your Facebook User ID

We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner). Backup copies are purged on their normal rotation.

What We Store

Only the information needed to operate your account (e.g., name, email, Facebook ID). We do not store your Facebook password.

Status & Confirmation

After deletion completes, we will send a confirmation email to the address on file. If you submitted a request by email, we will reply to that thread with the outcome.
